Ear screening program details of Jagriti Secondary School

Khauma, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ramita Maharjan, Elina Maharjan & Alina Madhikarmi.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 84
• Total number of students with normal findings: 48 (57.14%)
• Total number of students with wax: 19 (22.61%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(1.1%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 16(19.04%)
