Ear screening program details of Jorpati Higher Secondary School

Nangkhel, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mana Shrestha, Elina Maharjan, Alina Madhikarmi, Elena & Adryana.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 209
• Total number of students with normal findings: 119 (56.93%)
• Total number of students with wax: 60 (28.70%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(0.47%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 28(13.39%)
• SNHL: 1(0.47%)
