Ear screening program details of Shree Jana Premi Lower Secondary School

Lokanthali, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Prity Maharjan, Alina Madhikarmi, Mana Shrestha, Elena.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 195
• Total number of students with normal findings: 117 (60%)
• Total number of students with wax: 48 (24.61%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(0.51%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 29(14.87%)
