Ear screening program details of Shree Mahendra Lower Secondary School

Jatigal, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Prity Maharjan, Mana Shrestha & Elena Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 200
• Total number of students with normal findings: 117 (58.5%)
• Total number of students with wax: 56 (28%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 27(13.5%)
