Ear screening program details of Adarsha Higher Secondary School

Sanothimi, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mana Shrestha, Alina Madhikarmi, Mana Shrestha & Elena Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 505
• Total number of students with normal findings: 368 (72.87%)
• Total number of students with wax: 92 (18.21%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(0.19%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 35(6.93%)
• SNHL: 9 (1.78%)
