Ear screening program details of Vidyarthi Niketan Secondary School,

Durbar Square, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Mana Shrestha, Alina Madhikarmi, Elina Maharjan, Aashvi & Rupak Rauniar . 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 309
• Total number of students with normal findings: 205 (66.34%)
• Total number of students with wax: 77 (24.91%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 26 (8.41%)
• SNHL: 1 (0.32%)
