Ear screening program details of Shree Saraswoti Secondary School

Suryabinayak-11, Kakrabari, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal:  Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Elina Maharjan, Alina Madhikarmi & Mana  Shrestha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened:  165
• Total number of students with normal findings: 89 (53.93%)
• Total number of students with wax: 62 (37.57%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 14 (8.48%)
