Ear screening program details of Bal Sewa Basic School

Madhyapur Thimi, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Elina Maharjan, Alina Madhikarmi, Iker, Irantzu & Alex.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 103
• Total number of students with normal findings: 53 (51.45%)
• Total number of students with wax: 34 (33%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (1.94%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 14 (13.59%)
