Ear screening program details of Medha Secondary School

Tekhapukhu-16, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Binay Bikaram Adhikari, Mana Shrestha, Alina Madhikarmi, Elina Maharjan & Arri. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 443
• Total number of students with normal findings: 281 (63.43%)
• Total number of students with wax: 124 (27.99%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 3 (0.67%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 35 (7.9%)
