Ear screening program details of Shree Gyan Bikash Primary School

Madhyapur Thimi, Bode, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Dr. Monica Schumacher, Elina Maharjan & Alina Madhikarmi. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 110
• Total number of students with normal findings: 59 (53.63%)
• Total number of students with wax: 33 (30%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 18 (16.36%)
