Ear screening program details of Bode Higher Secondary School

Bode, Bhaktapur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Monica Schumacher, Binay Bikram Adhikari, Mana Shrestha, Elina Maharjan, Prity Maharjan & Alina Madhikarmi. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 145
• Total number of students with normal findings: 101 (69.65%)
• Total number of students with wax: 21 (14.48%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.68%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 22 (15.17%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1 (0.68%)
