Ear screening program details of Shree Arniko Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Belu Kayastha, Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Prity Maharjan & Ms. Alina  Madhikarmi.

 Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 164
• Total number of students with normal findings: 111 (67.68%)
• Total number of students with wax: 42 (25.60%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 11 (6.70%)
• SNHL: 10(6.09%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 16 (9.75%)
