Ear screening program details of Himalaya Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan
Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

- Total number with normal findings: 41 (53.24%)
- Total number with wax: 30 (38.96%)
- Total number with middle ear problem: 6 (7.79%)
- CSOM 'TT': 1
- ASOM: 2
- Retracted TM: 2
- OME: 1
- Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 1
