Ear screening program details of Shree Janaudhar Secondary School, Chunikhel, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan.
Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

- Total number with normal findings: 108 (67.92%)
- Total number with wax: 26 (16.35%)
- Total number with middle ear problems: 18 (11.32%)
- CSOM 'TT': 5
- ASOM': 3
- Retracted TM: 7
- Otosclerosis: 1
- Tympanosclerosis: 2
- SNHL: 7(4.40%)
- Students requiring ear surgery: 5
