Ear screening program details of Chanpabot Secondary School

Sankharapur-1, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Binay Bikram Adhikari, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi & Ms. Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 133
• Total number of students with normal findings: 75 (56.39%)
• Total number of students with wax: 48 (36.09%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 10 (7.51%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 0
• Total number of students requiring ear surgery: 0
