Ear screening program details of Nepal Yubak Secondary  School,

Gaushala, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya & Ms. Elina Maharjan

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 324
• Total number of students with normal findings: 185 (57.09%)
• Total number of students with wax: 131(40.43%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.30%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 5 (1.54%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (2.16%)
