Ear screening program details of Neel Barahi Secondary School,

Tankeshwor,  Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Rajesh Maharjan, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan & Ms. Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 515
• Total number of students with normal findings: 316 (61.35%)
• Total number of students with wax: 162 (31.45%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.38%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 35 (11.11%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 18 (5.71%)
