Ear screening program details of Bikalpa Gyan Tatha Bikash Kendra Nepal Secondary School,

Boudha, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Smriti Shrestha , Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Elina Maharjan &  Kareena Giri.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 302
• Total number of students with normal findings: 164(54.30%)
• Total number of students with wax: 102 (33.77%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 3 (0.99%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 33 (10.92%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 9(2.98%)
