Ear screening program details of Shree Chundevi Secondary School,

Chandragiri, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Karina Giri, Ms Lea Savard

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 273
• Total number of students with normal findings: 139 (50.92%)
• Total number of students with wax: 102 (37.36%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 30 (10.99%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 11 (4.03%)
