Ear screening program details of Shree Kanti Bhairab Secondary School,

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta, Ms Karina Giri, Ms Roshna Shrestha

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 742
• Total number of students with normal findings: 393 (52.96%)
• Total number of students with wax: 277 (37.33%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 13 (1.75%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 59 (7.96%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 28 (3.77%)
