Ear screening program details of Shree Chandi Bhairav Secondary School,

Chisapani, Chandragiri, Kathmandu

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Shristi Subba, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Sangita Dhakal, Ms. Anjani Kumari Gupta & Ms. Roshna Shrestha 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 184
• Total number of students with normal findings: 89 (48.36%)
• Total number of students with wax: 83 (45.11%)
• Total number of students with external ear problems: 2 (1.1%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problems: 10 (5.43%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 5 (2.71%)
