Ear screening program details of Shankheswori Mahalaxmi Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Ms. Pilar, Ms. Silvia.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 214
• Total number of students with normal findings: 116 (54.21%)
• Total number of students with wax: 80 (37.38%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 18 (8.41%)
