Ear screening program details of Himalaya Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 203
• Total number of students with normal findings: 127 (62.56%)
• Total number of students with wax: 49 (24.13%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0 
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 23 (11.33%)
• SNHL: 3 (1.47%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1 (0.49%)
