Ear screening program details of Bhume Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Binay Bikram Adhikari, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Elina Maharjan,  Ms. Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 163
• Total number of students with normal findings: 109 (66.87%)
• Total number of students with wax: 40 (24.5%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0 
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 13 (7.98%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1 (0.61%)
