Ear screening program details of Sanjivani Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Dr. Falak, Mr. Binay Bikram Adhikari, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Elina Maharjan,  Ms. Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 476
• Total number of students with normal findings: 293 (61.55%)
• Total number of students with wax: 146 (30.67%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0 
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 31 (6.51%)
• SNHL: 5 (1.05%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1 (0.21%)
