Ear screening program details of Swet Baraha Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 322
• Total number of students with normal findings: 162 (50.31%)
• Total number of students with wax: 129 (40.06%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 4 (1.24%) 
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 25 (7.76%)
• SNHL: 2 (0.62%)
