Ear screening program details of Janahit Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Shakespeare Pandey, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Elina Maharjan.  

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 134
• Total number of students with normal findings: 78 (58.2%)
• Total number of students with wax: 38 (28.35%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 17 (12.68%)
• SNHL: 1(0.74%)
