Ear screening program details of Krishna Secondary School

Namobuddha, Kavrepalanchowk

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Shakespeare Pandey, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Alina Madhikarmi.  

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 117
• Total number of students with normal findings: 69 (58.97%)
• Total number of students with wax: 29 (24.78%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 18 (15.38%)
• SNHL: 1 (0.85%)
