Ear screening program details of Deepshikha Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Shakespeare Pandey, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 239
• Total number of students with normal findings: 124 (51.88%)
• Total number of students with wax: 88 (36.82%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1 (0.41%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 24 (10.04%)
• SNHL: 2 (0.83%)
