Ear screening program details of Kanpur Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Shakespeare Pandey, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Ms. Catherine Cote.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 141
• Total number of students with normal findings: 83 (58.86%)
• Total number of students with wax: 38 (26.95%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 18 (12.76%)
• SNHL: 1 (0.70%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1 (0.70%)
