Ear screening program details of Chandayani Secondary  School

Mandandeupur, Kavrepalanchowk

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Mr. Shakespeare Pandey, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 226
• Total number of students with normal findings: 152 (67.25%)
• Total number of students with wax: 57 (25.22%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 2 (0.88%)
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 11 (4.86%)
• SNHL: 3 (1.32%)
• Mixed Hearing Loss: 1 (0.44%)
