Ear screening program details of Phulchowki Basic School

Nayagaun, Kavrepalanchowk

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Ms. Rosy Bajracharya, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi.   

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 40
• Total number of students with normal findings: 19 (47.5%)
• Total number of students with wax: 14 (35%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 6 (15%)
• SNHL: 1 (2.5%)
