Ear screening program details of Shree Bishwamitra Ganesh Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan(Awale)

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 272
• Total number with normal findings: 157 (57.72%)
• Total number with wax: 94 (34.55%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 19 (6.98%)
• SNHL: 2 (0.73%)
