Ear screening program details of Tri-Padma Vidyashram Higher Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

Total number of students: 735

Total number with normal findings: 512 (69.65%)

Total number with wax: 172 (23.40%)

Total number of student with External ear problem: 2(0.27%)

Total number with middle ear problem: 45 (6.12%)

SNHL: 1(0.13%)

Mixed HL: 1(0.13%)
