Ear screening program details of Shree Madan Smarak Higher Secondary School

Pulchowk, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 253
• Total number with normal findings: 165 (65.21%)
• Total number with wax: 66 (26.08%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 20 (7.9%)
• SNHL: 2(0.79%)
