Ear screening program details of Shree Phulchowki Higher Secondary School, Thaiba, Lalitpur
 4th August and 7th September 2016

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan, Oihane.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

Total number of students: 317

Total number with normal findings: 257 (81.07%)

Total number with wax: 40 (12.61%)

Total number of students with external ear problem and others: 2 (0.63%)

• Otitis Externa: 1
• Myringitis: 1

Total number with middle ear problem: 16 (5.04%)

• CSOM TT: 9
• CSOM AA: 1
• Retracted TM: 4
• OME: 1
• Adhesive OM: 1

SNHL: 2(0.63%)

Students requring surgery: 2
