Ear screening program details of Shree Phulchowki Higher Secondary School

 Thaiba, Lalitpur 

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 256
• Total number with normal findings: 148 (57.81%)
• Total number with wax: 84 (32.81%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(0.39%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 20 (7.81%)
• SNHL: 3(1.17%)
