Ear screening program details of Shree Buddha Higher Secondary School

Thaiba, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 219
• Total number with normal findings: 148 (67.57%)
• Total number with wax: 50 (22.83%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 20 (9.13%)
• SNHL: 1(0.45%)
