Ear screening program details of Shree Krishna Higher Secondary School

 Dhapakhel-2, Lalitpur 

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 202
• Total number with normal findings: 132 (65.34%)
• Total number with wax: 40 (1d9.50%)
Total number of students with external ear problem: 1(0.49%)
• Impacted wax with hearing loss: 1
• Total number with middle ear problem: 25 (12.37%)
• SNHL: 3(1.48%)
