Ear screening program details of Shree Padhma Prakash Secondary School

 Dhapakhel, Lalitpur 

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan,Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Community Ear Assistant: Mana Shrestha, Volunteers: Prity Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 423
• Total number with normal findings: 264 (62.41%)
• Total number with wax: 123 (29.07%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 33 (7.80%)
• SNHL: 3(0.70%)
