Ear screening program details of Shree Mahalaxmi Higher Secondary School

Lubhu, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Volunteers: Ms. Mana Shrestha, Ashok Maharjan, Mr. Aitor.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 248
• Total number with normal findings: 163 (65.72%)
• Total number with wax: 55 (22.17%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 25 (10.08%)
• SNHL: 5 (2.01%)
• Students requiring surgery: 5
