Ear screening program details of Shree Shringery Community Secondary School

Lamatar, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Volunteers: Ms. Mana Shrestha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 181
• Total number with normal findings: 107 (59.11%)
• Total number with wax: 57 (31.49%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 15 (8.28%)
• SNHL: 2 (1.10%)
• Students requiring surgery: 5
