Ear screening program details of Shree Narayan Lower Secondary School

Tikathali, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Volunteers: Ms. Mana Shrestha.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 110
• Total number with normal findings: 60 (54.54%)
• Total number with wax: 29 (26.36%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 21 (19.09%)
• Students requiring surgery: 1
