Ear screening program details of Mary Ward School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Mr. Binay Bikram Adhikari, Ms. Mana Shrestha, Ms. Alina Madhikarmi & Ms.Elina Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 155
• Total number of students with normal findings: 81 (52.25%)
• Total number of students with wax: 61 (39.35%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem:1 (0.54%)
• Total number of students with middle ear problem: 13 (8.38%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 7 (4.51%)
