Ear screening program details of Nepal YMCA Child Care Center

Khumaltar, Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal:Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Samjhana Phuyal, Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Elina Maharjan, Mr. Alexix, Ms. Luiba.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students ear screened: 40
• Total number of students with normal findings: 19 (47.5%)
• Total number of students with wax: 20(50%)
• Total number of students with external ear problem: 0
• Total number of students with middle ear probelm: 1 (2.5%)
• Total number of students with hearing loss: 0
