Ear screening program details of Shree Chandi Devi Primary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Chandan Baranwal, Volunteers: Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Diki Tsering, Ms. Daniela Maharjan, Mr. Ashok Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 157
• Total number with normal findings: 62 (39.49%)
• Total number with wax: 81 (51.59%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 12 (7.64%)
• SNHL: 1 (0.63%)
• Pre-auricular Sinus: 1 (0.63%)
• Students requiring surgery: 4
