Ear screening program details of Shree Bakhel Kumari Lower Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Dr. Chandan Baranwal, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Volunteers: Ms. Prity Maharjan, Ms. Diki Tsering, Ms. Daniela Maharjan, Mr. Ashok Maharjan.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 70
• Total number with normal findings: 37 (52.85%)
• Total number with wax: 26 (37.14%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 7 (10%)
• Students requiring surgery: 1
