Ear screening program details of Shree Chandi Bidhyashram High School, Chakupat,  Lalitpur

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Volunteers: Jagoba, Txaber.

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program.

• Total number of students: 55
• Total number with normal findings: 40 (72.72%)
• Total number with wax: 9 (16.36%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 5 (9.09%)

  • Retracted TM: 2
• SNHL: 1 (1.81%)
• Students requiring surgery: 2
