Ear screening program details of Lalit Bikas Lower Secondary School

Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan, Volunteers: Ms. Pragya Bajracharya, Ms. Mahima Shah. 

Active participation and support was provided by the teachers during entire program. 

• Total number of students: 122
• Total number with normal findings: 84 (68.85%)
• Total number with wax: 33 (27.04%)
• Total number with middle ear problem: 5 (4.098%)
  • OME: 2
  • Retracted TM: 3
• Students requiring surgery: 0
