Ear screening program of Shree Saraswati Higher Secondry School.
Screening program was carried out by a team from Ear Care Nepal which included ENT Surgeon: Dr. Milan Maharjan, Audio-technician: Ms. Ramita Maharjan and Volunteer: Mr. Ashok Maharjan.
Active participation and support was provided by the Principal and all the teachers during entire program.
- Total number of students: 288
- Total number with normal findings: 206 (71.52%)
- Total number with wax: 60 (20.83%)
- Total number with middle ear problem: 19 (6.59%)
- Acute Otitis Media: 4
- Chronic Otitis Media 'TT': 9
- Retracted TM: 6
- SNHL: 3 (1.04%)
